The generated project stays editable, so you can rewrite a line, reroll one scene, or swap the voice without starting the whole video again.
Is ViewMax Studio free?
New accounts get free credits, which is enough to take one short video from prompt to finished export before any card is involved. That is deliberate: the only honest way to judge an AI video generator is to run your own idea through it, not to watch a showreel of the takes that worked. After the free credits run out you buy more, and the credit cost of each clip is shown before it renders. There is no trial that quietly converts into a subscription.

Do videos have a watermark?
Paid clips export clean — no watermark, no logo burned into the corner, no branding in the last frame. Free-credit renders are watermarked, which is the trade for trying the tool without paying, and the watermark is removed by rendering the same project again on a paid plan rather than by buying a separate removal add-on. You do not need a third-party watermark remover, and you should be wary of any tool that makes you want one.
How do I cancel my subscription or get a refund?
Cancel from the billing portal in your account settings — one screen, effective immediately, and it stops the next renewal rather than merely flagging your intent to leave. Failed renders refund their credits automatically; that is code, not a support decision, so a provider timeout costs you nothing. For unspent credits, email support@viewmaxstudio.net within 7 days of payment. Account deletion is in settings too, and it removes your projects rather than merely hiding them.
Can I make faceless videos for YouTube Shorts?
Yes — faceless short-form is the format ViewMax Studio is tuned for. You supply a topic or a script, and the AI video generator produces the narration, the visuals and the captions without you appearing on camera or recording your own voice. Output is vertical and sized for Shorts, Reels and TikTok. What separates a faceless channel that works from one that does not is usually the script rather than the footage, which is why the script step is editable before anything renders.
Can I make UGC-style ads?
Yes. UGC ads are their own mode rather than a repurposed story template: you give the product and the angle, and the AI generates creator-style footage with a spoken hook, on-screen captions and a call to action at the end. The practical use is volume — testing eight variations of a hook against each other costs a fraction of one filmed shoot, and the losing seven cost you nothing but credits.
Does it write the script, or do I have to?
Either way works, but you get a better video when you read the draft. Give ViewMax Studio a topic and it writes a script and a scene breakdown you can edit before anything renders; give it your own script and it works to yours instead. That editable middle step is the whole point — most disappointing AI video comes from sending a one-line idea straight to render and accepting whatever the model decided the story was. Does it add voiceover and captions?
Both, in the same pass as the picture. The AI voiceover is generated from your script in a voice you pick, and captions are burned in and timed to it — which matters because most short-form is watched on mute, and uncaptioned clips lose the viewer in the first second. Yes. Videos you generate on a paid plan carry commercial rights — client work, monetised channels, paid ad campaigns, courses and products you sell. There is no per-project licence to buy, no attribution line to keep in the description, and no separate upgrade standing between you and earning from what you made.
Is there an API or an MCP server?
This is on the roadmap rather than shipped, and we would rather say so than list it as a feature. The intent is a straightforward HTTP API for programmatic generation plus an MCP server so agents in Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor can generate video as a tool call. If you want it, the waitlist on the roadmap page is the place to say so — it is what decides the order things get built in.
Will AI-generated videos get demonetised on YouTube?
Not for being made with AI. YouTube demonetises inauthentic, mass-produced uploads — the same template narrated over stock footage, published fifty times a day — not AI as a production method. A video carrying your own script, your own angle and a real point of view is treated like any other upload, and because nothing was licensed from a third party there is no rights holder to file a Content ID claim. Two real cautions: do not build videos around characters or brands somebody else owns, and disclose AI use where the platform asks.
