What is ViewMax Studio?
An AI video generator for short-form video. Describe a shot and it renders it. Hand ViewMax Agent 2.0 a brief instead and it plans its own shot list, cuts between the shots and lays down narration and music in one pass, up to a minute long. Built for vertical video on YouTube Shorts, TikTok and Reels.
Is ViewMax Studio free?
New accounts get 100 credits on signup, no card required. That covers a five-second clip on the fastest model, which is enough to judge the output on your own idea. After that you buy credits.
How much does ViewMax Studio cost?
$39 a month for 5,000 credits, about 200 clips. Pro is $69 for 10,000 credits, Max is $119 for 20,000. Paying yearly halves all three. Credits are charged per clip, and a clip shows its cost before it renders.
Do videos have a watermark?
No. Every video exports clean, on free credits as well as on a paid plan. No watermark, no logo in the corner, no branding in the last frame.
How do I cancel my subscription or get a refund?
Cancel from the billing portal in your account settings; it stops the next renewal immediately. Failed renders refund their credits automatically. For unspent credits, email support@viewmaxstudio.net within 7 days of payment. Account deletion is in settings under Security.
Is there a lifetime deal?
No. ViewMax Studio has no lifetime plan or lifetime deal. The closest option is a one-time credit package, from $29 for 2,000 credits to $249 for 30,000: you pay once, and the credits never expire.
Do unused credits roll over?
Credits from a one-time package never expire. Subscription credits are granted each billing cycle and expire at renewal, so a month’s unused allowance does not carry over.
How do I change my password?
Open Settings, then Security, and use Change Password. If you signed up with Google and never set a password, the same page shows Reset Password instead, which emails you a link to set one so you can also sign in with your email.
Can I make faceless videos for YouTube Shorts?
Yes. Give the AI video generator a topic or a script and it produces the narration, the visuals and the captions, with no camera and no voice of your own. Output is vertical and sized for Shorts, Reels and TikTok.
Can I make UGC-style ads?
Yes, though not as a separate mode — it comes out of how you write the brief. Describe the creator, the product and the angle, and ViewMax Agent 2.0 will plan the shots and speak the hook. Any other model renders a single creator-style take from the same description.
Does it write the script, or do I have to?
ViewMax Agent 2.0 writes its own. Give it a topic and it plans the shot list, the narration and the cuts, then renders them in one pass — there is no draft to approve in between. Give it your own script and it works to yours. Every other model treats what you write as the description of a single shot and renders exactly that.
Does it add voiceover and captions?
ViewMax Agent 2.0 narrates in the same pass as the picture, in English, and scores it too. The voice is its own choice rather than a setting, and it cannot be asked for silence. Several of the other models render their own audio; none of them add captions, so subtitles are a step for your editor.
How do I use ViewMax Studio?
Describe the video you want, pick a model, a size and a length, and render. The cost in credits shows on the button before anything runs, and finished clips stay in your history. The AI video generator runs in the browser, so there is nothing to install on Mac, Windows or Linux.
Can I use the videos commercially?
Yes. Every plan and every credit package carries a commercial licence, signup credits included: client work, monetised channels, ad campaigns, courses and products you sell. There is no per-project licence and no attribution requirement.
Is there an API or an MCP server?
Both are live. The MCP server at /api/mcp lets Claude, Claude Code, Cursor or any other MCP client render a clip as a tool call, and the REST API at /api/v1 does the same without one. One key from your settings covers both, and calls spend the same credits as the website. Setup is on the MCP page.
Will AI-generated videos get demonetised on YouTube?
Not for being made with AI. YouTube demonetises inauthentic, mass-produced uploads, not AI as a production method. Two cautions: do not build videos around characters or brands somebody else owns, and disclose AI use where the platform asks.
When is an AI video generator the wrong tool?
When the video has to show something real. Genuine testimonials, your actual team and the product in a customer’s hands belong in front of a camera. An AI video generator fits the work where filming was never realistic.
